Colour vs Black and White

So I went to Ikea the other day aka my favourite place in the world, I mean there are so many amazing and I really mean AMAZING! furniture stores out there and amazing pieces but when your on a 23yr olds budget Ikea is THE place! I decided I needed a new rug and this is it! its so much fun and totally makes for a great background for photos! Ikea flatpacks and the general trip to Ikea can be quiet testing on some people's relationships, I went with my mother once we left almost not speaking basically! but most other times I/we have survived! Here's the rug, and my favourite things this week.

Who doesnt love a whimsical friday?! or a whimsical any day of the week? well im a big fan!

And I love gold and white, I know the tassel garlands have been doing there rounds big time lately but I still love them none the less and they add this instant beautiful energy to any space in the house.

You could even hang them in the bathroom for a nice touch! Who knows!

Modern Love

I bought this fab Mika and Gala dress the other day, I couldn't resist it when I saw it in the window strolling by! It's so simple, yet so bold, so classic and so fun! people have told me I look like Eddie Sedgewick when wearing it, thats defiantly a good thing, since she oozes cool!

I paired the dress with pastel nails and my leopard print booties that are pink and oh so hard to match with anything but I think this dress is one of those things you can pull of lairy shoes with!
